What a movie

Hi all. Wishing you all a very happy new year. 

I had an amazing start to the new year. Had the privilege of watching Sherlock Holmes - AGOS. What an incredible experience.

screen play - exemplary, one which even Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would be proud of (wikipedia claims:The film is specifically influenced by Conan Doyle's work The Final Problem, but it is an independent story rather than a strict adaptation)

dialouges -crisp, sharp, absorbing, captivating, rich in humor of the best kind, vocabulary of the kind which will make you very familiar with the Oxford dictionary,

action - believable, sometimes nail biting, adrenaline rushing, train breaking, heart bombing, tower falling, death defying, hair raising ( the ac of the cinema hall would only support the cause)

background score- the one which will always leave a gap of an inch or thereabouts between the ass and the seat,

direction - brilliant, farsighted, every scene interlinked with each other, always ahead of the audience, finally leaves the audience admiring Sherlock Holmes and not hoping that they could become like him.

star cast and acting -  It is hard to believe that Sherlock Holmes was playing the role of Robert Downey Jr and Dr Watson was donning the role of Jude Law all these days,

                                

                        Very seldom we come across a movie good in all aspects. Well, this is one of them. It is captivating and engrossing from the start till the end. It is a feast to the type of audience who like to get interwoven with the movie as it proceeds and begin directing the movie in their subconscious mind only to reach to the conclusion that the real director has done a better job than them. 

                    All in all,  a brilliant movie. A must watch. Ritchie is the Guy to look out for this weekend.
